I am completely humbled by these two. Their courage, bond and strength is incredible and very apparent. Spending an afternoon with this handsome energetic young man, you would never know he underwent heart surgery less than seven months ago. I think he ran around almost the entire session. He's hysterical. We laughed, he taught me some fierce karate moves, stomped ants together, ran around, picked flowers for Mama, skipped rocks, jumped across bridges, ran some more, played super hero and he made time to show me his "zipper", aka scar down his chest from surgery. It was a busy couple hours ... but in the best way.
Bravest lil' man I know right here ...
Kim and Joe were also one of my very first clients over two years ago. It's so fun to look back at old photos and realize how much there really is to know about photography. I still consider myself a beginner. It seems like forever ago but I remember exactly how proud I was of these photos. Makes me smile. A little look back ... original edits and all.
Thanks again Daudets. Kim, give that big kindergartner a hug for me.
